Common Pool is a resource coordination tool app inspired by the concept of Time Banks. In this project, I took on the role of Graphic Creative and Brand Specialist.
Through the app, users can offer and request services based on their needs. In return, they can share items in good condition they no longer use, their time, or services others may benefit from. This fosters a new kind of exchange economy, where value isn’t measured by monetary worth but by collaboration, sharing, and cooperation as the true units of exchange.

The result:

The design drew inspiration from the idea of a pool of resources that is intangible yet impactful. The concept of an aura was chosen to symbolize this shared space, using spheres of light as a visual metaphor for accessibility and interconnectedness. This imagery evokes a sense of unity and flow, reinforcing the idea that resources—be they time, energy, or objects—are part of a collective pool open to everyone. The soft gradients and ethereal tones further emphasize the fluidity and inclusivity of the concept.

The logo features a design that intertwines the project’s initials into a continuous line, symbolizing the unbroken flow of energy.
