The Virtual AI Safety Unconference was an online event for both established and aspiring AI safety researchers. For this project, I served as Vision Lead, ensuring that the event fulfilled its purpose. Additionally, I developed the branding and created the graphic materials for the event.
VAISU attracted over 350 participants and +40 speakers from around the world. The slogan “Connect without borders” highlights the event’s virtual nature, significantly reducing barriers to connecting with the AI safety community.
The event logo is a nod to Nick Bostrom’s book Superintelligence, featuring a fine-line design with a shape that remains recognizable across any application.
